Automatic surface pretreatment lines

Automatic surface pretreatment lines

These are systems designed as tunnels for projects with high number of parts to be processed in automatic and continuous powder coating plants, where the workpieces are washed and cleaned.

The main principle of the process is to degrease the workpieces first by using the appropriate chemical process and then to make the parts ready for painting by creating a thin protection layer on their surfaces. As the workpieces pass through the active zones of the tunnel, cleaning and surface treatment is carried out using the appropriate chemical process.

There are separate active sections for each chemical process stage in the surface treatment tunnels.  Each active section has its own chemical tank, circulation pump system and spray active zone.

At the end of the process, the workpieces need to be dried quickly.

There are different chemical processes for ferrous, aluminum or alloy materials.

Many parameters are taken into account by our engineering department for the design, but in general, the raw material of the workpieces, the oil content ratio of the surfaces, the indoor or outdoor environment in which the final products will work and the expected warranty period are taken into consideration.

Incorrect or incomplete process selection may result in higher operating costs, quality problems in the final product, excessive use of water or chemicals and consequently higher production costs. Therefore, the advice of the chemical product supplier should be taken at the beginning of the project when selecting the process.

Since each project is unique, our engineering department will blend your project with its 20 years of experience and provide you with a project designed just for you.
