Immersion pretreatment systems are designed for systems where workpiece quantities are low or workpiece sizes are large or long. With this application, surface treatment is carried out by manually or automatically dipping the workpieces into the process tanks.
The application is carried out by immersing the workpieces in a basket with the help of a crane or alone in chemical process baths. The workpieces are first degreased and then a thin protective layer of phosphate or chromate is created on their surfaces. This application is also very advantageous for degreasing and cleaning the internal surfaces of products such as pipes and profiles.
The choice of chemical process is important and should be selected in accordance with the advice of the chemical product supplier.
The system consists of the appropriate number of immersion tanks, monorail crane and basket system according to the chemical process. The cleaning and coating process can be carried out manually or automatically by dipping the basket into the tanks.
At the end of the process, the products are dried in the drying oven. The drying oven is placed at the end of the process, at the continuation of the chemical baths and is designed as an immersion type for the basket to enter.
